This manual transmission Mazda Sport is a nice light weight vehicle to tow and is great for exploring the mountain twisties with top down in the summer and the heat on in the fall. New tires and everything works including the A/C. Wife has problem getting in and out, age related, so we have gone to a C RV.

I own a 2016 MX5 and recently thought about towing it. Is it a fairly straightforward install and use of the tow bar method?
Check out Roadmaster for a baseplate. It MUST be a manual transmission. I was told that the older 5 speeds could not be towed, but that might not be correct. I had a nearby RV shop install the baseplate on my 2011 MX5. Roadmaster says 3 1/2 hours for install. Roadmaster gives thorough directions. Zoom, zoom!

We love our MX5 Miata and have towed it all over the country. Great fun car if you can get by with two seats. Plus, super reliable. More smiles per mile!
