I have the same bases, which corroded within a year. The mirrors are fine, as they are not a cheap chrome plated cast aluminum mold. Seal your new ones around the edges (as the chrome plating is garbage, even depicted in yours). Also, keep your new ones waxed! JMHO

Agreed! Not the best chroming, clearly. Just have to work with what they built. Thanks for the wax tip!
